In order to mirror the screen of your Android smartphone or tablet, you'll need a device running Android 4.4.2 and above as well as a Chromecast device.
NOTE: Most Smart TV's are not compatible for mirroring devices with IOS (iphone, ipad) and windows (laptop )operating system. You may contact the TV manufacturer to clarify compatible devices. Typically, you can check the version of Android running on your device by going into Settings > About Phone and looking for "Android version." Google notes on its support page any device running Android 4.4.2 and above is capable of casting its screen to a TV, however some devices are better suited for such a task. The company goes so far to offer a list of optimized devices, which you can view here. I've tested devices not listed and didn't see a drastic difference in performance, but as always, your results may vary. So how does one go about casting the screen of an Android device to a television? It's quite simple, actually.
Another method present on some devices is found in the quick settings pane, found by swiping down from the top of your device's screen. If a Cast or Cast Screen button is present, you can select it followed by the device you'd like to cast your screen to instead of going through the Google Home app. Once you begin casting -- or mirroring -- your screen, an alert will appear in your notification shade, making it possible to stop mirroring with a tap.

Hisense remote codes. Each remote is programmed differently depending on your cable provider. You may obtain information from your cable provider on how to programme your remote control.
Power supply failures often cause televisions to shut off by themselves. The problems may be in the television's power system or from the source of power. Problems with cable boxes can make it look like the television is turning off on its own.
1. Try using a different electrical outlet (power source). Ensure you test the alternate outlet with another device to ensure it is working. 2. Perform a power cycle. This can be done by unplugging all external devices from the TV. Turn the TV off and unplug the power cord then press and hold the TV power button for 30 seconds. (This should be done while the TV is off and unplugged). Reconnect the power cord to the electrical outlet then turn the TV on. 1. Try pointing remote at all corners; see if one works/works better.
2. Move objects away from front of TV (soundbar, Kinect, etc). 3. Move cable/satellite box farther from TV. 4. Re-pair the remote with the TV (if possible). 5. Replace remote batteries. 6.If the steps does not work then I recommend contacting manufacturer for support.
1. Unplug all external devices that are connected to the TV.
2. Turn the TV off and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. 3. Press and hold the TV power button for 40 seconds. NOTE: The TV should be off and unplugged when doing this. 4. Reconnect the power cord then turn the TV on. You should be able to see a display. If not, then point a flashlight towards the TV screen, Look closely for ghost images or text on the screen. NOTE: If you see a picture or text using the flashlight then most likely your TV has a panel issue. Please contact the TV manufacturer for servicing the panel. The first thing you want to do is verify that the TV is actually connected to your WiFi network. Does this page say it’s connected to your Wi-Fi network. If it doesn’t then the TV isn’t connected to the network yet. Go back to the network settings page, highlight your Wi-Fi network name, then press the OK button. You might have to type your Wi-Fi password again. After you do this try using your apps or select “Test Connection” again.
NOTE: If you do have other devices that are connected to the internet then most likely the issue is with the TV and not the internet. If the TV says connected but your unable to launch apps then I would recommend turning the TV off then on. If that does not work then perform a factory reset. This usually can be done from the TV menu settings. A factory reset, also known as master reset, is a software restore of an electronic device to its original system state by erasing all of the information stored on the device in an attempt to restore the device's software to its original manufacturer settings. Follow these steps to troubleshoot a television display if you are experiencing problems with the picture.
1. Check the connections on your TV to ensure they are properly connected. 2. Press the menu button to bring up the On Screen Display. Go to Picture Settings, and choose Reset Picture Settings. 3. Cycle through the different Picture Modes that are available in your Picture Settings. If the factory set Picture Modes are not to your preference, you have the option to set your Picture Mode to Custom and adjust each specific setting to your liking. 4. Try viewing a program from a different source such as a DVD player or game console. If the problem you are experiencing is only on one source, it may be caused by that specific source. Please contact the manufacturer of the device to further troubleshoot. 5. Power the TV off and unplug the TV, then press the power button for 5 seconds. Plug the TV back in and power back on. |
